Both new build and refurbishment works are common using this type of framing, it remains the most cost effective method of upgrading a building frontage, with the added bonus of making public entrance doors more secure, safer and easier to use and maintain. Systems are available in non-thermally broken or thermally enhanced options in order to allow this type of framing to be used for non retail display applications such as offices, cafés, commercial and industrial buildings as well as educational and healthcare projects.
Aluminium is the perfect material for such framing, requiring very little maintenance, high strength, corrosion resistant and constructed from almost 100% recyclable material. Unlike timber and steel, it won’t rot, corrode or require painting.
