About Vulcan

When David Walker started his building business 'Beach & Walker' in 1973, He could not have imagined that he would now be the Chairman of a group of companies of which 'Vulcan Windows Limited' and 'Vulcan Aluminium Limited' would turn over in excess of £10 Million.

"Originally we specialised in making and fitting timber windows for Hull City Council" says David. "We developed and nurtured an excellent relationship with the Council who supported us with many different building and window projects".

As with many Councils, their decision to provide a maintenance free solution for their housing stock prompted a change to PVCu. Vulcan needed to react to this and as such, committed to a sustained investment programme for the manufacture of PVCu windows and doors.

Vulcan further expanded its portfolio of clients to cover supply and fit solutions to the New-Build housing market, Commercial specifiers, Trade users and of course Domestic Customers.

The Synseal range of PVCu products was instrumental in enabling Vulcan to be flexible and innovative and be able to provide a market leading range of products at an extremely competitive cost.

The new range of composite doors on offer, are a typical example of how Vulcan sees the demand for doors in the future.

Now employing over 150 people at its two factories in Hull, Vulcan Windows and its associate company Vulcan Aluminium can take pride in their state of the art manufacturing and fabrication facilities which ensure that only the highest quality products are manufactured. This enables them to boast of an impressive list of clients to whom PVCu and Aluminium Windows, Doors and Conservatory solutions have been provided.
